Seems well made but takes some effort to stop leaks
Fittings are course tolerance and require some effort to stop leakage. The unit seems fairly durable. Be sure to flush before use as there is a lot of loose carbon in the included filter.

I'd give more stars if I could...
I bought the RV water filter (CAMCO 40631) and followed the directions for installing it. My husband was out of town at the time, and I didn't want to wait.
So, of course, the very first thing I do is over-torque one of the connections and I broke it.
I called CAMCO customer service, and explained what I had done, and asked who I needed to talk to so I could buy the parts I needed. The lady on the other end asked me a few questions, and then told me she will be sending the parts to me.
It was easy, simple, and I had a wonderful conversation with the rep, and the best part was I didn't have to struggle through a accent or language barrier.
Camco - you just earned a lifetime customer!
Solved our bad smelling water problem.
Where we camp our well has a strong iron smell to it. I tried one of those in-line charcoal filters but that didn't cut it. This filter does. Although we've never considered the water potable, we use it for everything else in our camper, and finally, with the addition of this EVO Premium, our water seems like city tap water. Wonderful! It's refreshing when a product works as advertised.
