We have been using these candles in a Berkey filter for a month now, and have been very pleased. I recommend using all 4 filters because the drip is very slow. (My husband likes to use only 2 and save 2 to replace them with. You can do that with Berkey candles, but these are slower - and most likely a lot more effective because of that.) I don't think they would be sufficient for fluoridated water. We're using them for untreated well water.

Great! Shipped quickly. Would order from this vendor again as the products were explained in detail with great pictures. Being able to order in quantity was a great plus.
