It will do the job
I installed it in the basement below the kitchen sink. Do to the large amount of water that will be spilt when changing the filters, I highly recommend putting any water filter in a location that can get very wet or flooded. Or have a tub under it at all time do to leaks that happens with water filters do to cheap plastic parts. Speaking of which, I have tried several time to stop leaks from the two soft plastic 90 deg fitting. This is the kind of thing I do for a living so rest assure I tried every trick I had to stop the leaks. The fix will be the replacement fitting I ordered.

The metal bracket that you can see that holds all together is very flimsy. When you bump the unit the bracket flexes and bobbles around. This should be about 3 times thicker steel to be allowed on the market. The 1/4" hose provided is a very short peace of scrap hose. I needed to buy more hose along with copper...
